Having recently purchased the fluval aquaclear 50 power filter after reading all the rave reviews online i found that after i observed the unit for myself that it wasn t going to be good for cleaning my aquarium. So i exchanged the aquaclear for the aqueon quietflow 30 because i do really like the aqueon quietflow 20 and the 30 is around 10 less than the aquaclear and does the same gph. However the quality of the actual replacement inserts that can be bought were quite good.

I have a seachem 110 and its noisey the pump and the flow. The fluval c4 combines the greater media capacity and higher flow rate of a canister filter with the lower price and easier cleaning of a hob aquarium filter to give you the best of both worlds the five stage filtration works well and the filter is both easy to use and easy to clean. Filter will begin to draw water from tank pump water into filter through cartridge and return it to tank. Install filter on tank as shown see packaging.

I would recommend using it for up to 10 gallon aquariums. I wanted a filter with the pump inside the tank so basically two choices aqueon quietflow or the more expensive seachem tidal.
